Visualizing Equitable Growth, Fall 2019

Visual Means is a student/faculty collaborative and creative studio at Express Newark/RU-N. As a member of Visual Means, I was able to take part in the design and development of Visualizing Equitable Growth. The city of Newark is working towards improving the city for the sake of its citizens. They understand the issues that are present and have put committees into action to combat these issues from worsening. As of December 2018, Newark has established the Equitable Growth Advisory Commission which is comprised of 15 members of the city’s community who will work towards preventing gentrification.
